I am a UX designer, service design and creative leader applying my experience in design thinking, product design and user research to work that I find meaningful.

I have worked directly with policy writers, health data experts and senior staff in multiple federal agencies to deliver practical solutions to critical government services that were crumbling under the weight of lengthy regulations and decades of debt.

I am fascinated by uncovering and untangling gnarly problems, soothed by the practice of creating materials that tell a clear story and satisfied when systems and services can be simplified to run more smoothly and more effectively.

As a design leader, I have nurtured highly collaborative cross-disciplinary design practices at non-profits and small government contractors. I have helped to establish and evolve effective design ops practices and have worked across disciplines to improve communication and tighten the feedback look within teams.

Based in Portland, OR, I have been working with remote teams since 2016. In my down time, I'm typically chasing home repair projects or throwing pots in my makeshift garage studio.
